Lesson #1 the only lesson so far lol
First select the pic you would like to have on your page, then goto
edit profile on your page that you want to put it on, got to the about
me section and then right click and select past or ctrl-v
It helps to know what size your screen resolution is to make
estimating where you want your pic to go easier. To do that on
Microsoft windows you right click on the desktop screen and go to
properties then go to settings there it should tell you your screen
resolution. Mine is 1280 x 800. That means that it is 1280 px wide
and 800 px high. This will help you to figure out where about you
want it placed on your page.
You need to change the code that you pasted in the about me
section of the profile find the part where it says
(style="position:absolute; left:100px; top:100px") I set the default at
left 100 and top 100, that 100 pixels in from the left and 100 pixels
down from the top. A 100 pixels is probably equals to around 1
inch.
To make the picture move to the right, increase the number that is
to the right of word (left). If your screen resolution is 1280 wide
then you can go up to 1280
To make the picture move down on the screen, increase the
number that is to the right of the word (top). This number can get
pretty high depending on how far down you want to put it on the
page, if your screen resolution height is 800 then you can kind of
estimate where about you want your picture by moving the scroll
bar and counting how many times the screen goes by and then
multiply that by 800.
Note that do to the websites advertisement that they have on the
top of the screen may make your image move up or down a little
bit.
If the pictures are showing up on top of each other then you
probably didn't change the numbers
Do not place the picture over any links. If you do this you will not
be able to use them. Note that some people use different screen
resolutions so if they view your page it may look a little different to
them.
